Suc­cess­ful Ani­ma­tor was founded by Ani­ma­tor & Ani­ma­tion Direc­tor Mike L. Mur­phy.  In 2012, after many years of lec­tur­ing and men­tor­ing ani­ma­tion stu­dents world­wide, he decided to open Suc­cess­ful Ani­ma­tor online so stu­dents any­where can dis­cover how to get stu­dio wor­thy skills.  Suc­cess­ful Ani­ma­tor not only teaches ani­ma­tion, but we teach the other parts of the Ani­ma­tion Indus­try that no one else does.  You’ll learn career plan­ning, sto­ry­telling, screen­writ­ing, sto­ry­board­ing, art direc­tion, office pol­i­tics, act­ing, direct­ing, & more.

We pride our­selves on deliv­er­ing the best edu­ca­tional mate­ri­als to our stu­dents, and using the power of the inter­net to allow any­one with a big enough dream to do what excites them creatively…to be an animator!
